Specialized Configuration With Instructor Component
This configuration provides the perfect combination for striking and empty hand tactics,
redirection, and grappling in conjunction with handgun retention or weapon disarming.
Move easily from training projectiles to handgun retention or arrest and control by integrating
the WDS and RedMan XP Instructor Suit. Train SORT teams, especially for correctional environments,
hostage rescue, CERT or crisis intervention.
Duty Conversion to Force-on-Force Training
Adding the 4-part WDS Head to the DRS-90 takes blunt trauma training to the next level of
force-on-force training. Using the DRS-90, students can safely train to gain tactics needed
to manage the potential for escalating use-of-force. The WDS headgear allows the students to
simulate attacks, and training of students by using their verbalization techniques, empty
hands, knees and kicks, inert aerosols, baton, or use of training firearms.
Ground Defense & Special Environments
Expand your ground survival training and restraint techniques with RedMan XP components.
Maximize class participation by creating a realistic environment and enhancing the proper
protection for each student without the need for additional equipment. Hands and wrists are
surrounded by double overlay foam, while shins, knees and thighs are given full coverage,
including impact-dispersing trauma plates for the vulnerable thigh area. Classes run smoothly
with the gear's unique modular design: easy-on easy-off, sanitizable, and dry in seconds for
multiple uses.
Duty Conversion to Empty Hand Training
The same suit that is used on the front line can be converted for exceptional protection
and application in the training environment. Since the components are modular, configurations
for grappling, takedowns, subject control tactics, or low to high-level simulations can be
designed by using select XP suit pieces with the DRS components, as shown above.
Specialized Training Environment: Water Survival
Water environments pose unique training issues including movement in water, buoyancy, unique
combative conditions, swimming techniques to include underwater tactics, weapon control and more.
Using the DRS-180 Chest, XP Head, and No Foul Groin Guard, students can enhance their skills in
unique environments like water. The gear can be easily cleaned and sanitized between use.
